DISPOSAL OF CHILD STOOL

The proper disposal of children’s faeces is important in preventing the spread of diarrhoea and other diseases can be caused by direct contact or by animal contact with human faeces. Diarrhoea remains a leading cause of childhood morbidity and mortality in developing countries. Dehydration caused by diarrhoea is a major cause of illness and death among young children. Exposure to diarrhoea-causing pathogens is frequently related to the consumption of contaminated water and to unhygienic practices in food preparation and disposal of excreta.
